Insane Clown Posse Music – Acid Rap To The Core

In the later 1980s, the rap duo Insane Clown Posse was formed in the metropolis of Detroit, Michigan. The rappers Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler grew up in that metropolis and they have made it the source of intake for the Insane Clown Posse music and lyrics.

How They Got Started

It may sound foreign to most people that two began their friendship not because of their common warmth in rap but in their love for wrestling.

They constructed backyard rings and they joined and organized wrestling events in their area. Soon afterwards they completed their gift for rap music and in 1989, in partnership with Utsler`s brother, they formed the group JJ Boys. They released the single, "Party at the Top of the Mound" which they claimed they recorded just out of fun and not with the end of unveiling a good music career.

They started a ring which they named the Interior City Posse. But later a few skirmishes with the law and finally getting jailed, they decided to concentrate all of their energies into creating hip hop music. Bruce wanted to keep the initials ICP while they are thinking for a call for their new group. He recalled a dream he had almost a clown just run about in a street and that is where they got the name Insane Clown Posse.

The initial Insane Clown Posse music style was more of gangsta rap. However, they got influenced by the manner of Esham, another rapper, which was called acid rap They took up with that style and added horror themed lyrics to their songs.

However, it was during the product of their debut album, the "Circus of Carnage, that John Utsler left the group. He had said that he cherished to drop more time with his house and that the group`s shows have been eating lots of his time.

Their first album, "Carnival of Slaughter" was released on the eighteenth of October, 1992. It was a diminished production and had limited release with just inside the Detroit area. While it did not enjoy a high sales at first, it ultimately was eligible for gold record certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2010. Back then, their fame had started to grow and as such there were fans who were looking for Insane Clown Posse merch to add to their hip hop collection.

They experienced the most surge in their popularity with their 2nd album, "Ringmaster". They were soon being associated with what is Detroit rap and their concerts were being sold out left and right.

The duo released more albums in the following ten days or so: Riddle Box, The Great Milenko, The Amazing Jeckel Brothers, Bizaar, Bizaar; The Wraith: Shangri-La, Hell`s Pit, The Tempest, and Bang! Pow! Boom!.

Live Performances

The duo has been always known for their very merry and even adventurous on stage performances. With their high vitality and weird, scary clown make ups, they take truly created their own image which their fans have embraced. One of their popular acts involve the spray of soft drink to the crowd, sometimes even throwing the whole bottle.

After 20 years since they started, the Insane Clown Posse music is yet alert and beating. There seems to be no end in mass with their point of vitality and lyrical ideas to make more hit hip hop singles. There will continuously be a need for their insanely creative band merch for their fans to gather and wear.
