Inner City are second with a brand new one on KMS Records

Formed in 1987 by Detroit `techno` godfather Kevin Saunderson, Inner City is considered one of the most influential dance acts of all time. Beloved for some of dance music`s most influential singles and a revolutionary live show, Inner City took Detroit techno to the people to the line of 4 Gold Singles & 1 Gold Album; 8 Top 40 hits and two Top 20 albums; 4 #1 Billboard Club Hits &

7 #1 club hits in the UK; and was named "Best Dance Act in the man" by DMC in 1989 & 1992. After a 2009 world turn to keep the twentieth anniversary of "Paradise", the ground breaking classic first album, Inner City returns to top class with their new single Mark Wilkinson & Mikalis vs Inner City - "Good Love".

In 1987, Kevin Saunderson - still in college and recording out of his basement studio - produced a path which he afterwards felt needed lyrics.Enter_ Chicago chanteuse, Paris Grey, who was recommended to him and the two of them, collaborated on the one "Big Fun" which hit the British charts in 1988 with surprising crossover success. It was rapidly followed up with the Top Ten single "Good Life" and the UK Top 10 debut album Paradise (including further singles "Do You Know What You Feel" and "Ain`t Nobody Better.")

"Paradise Remixed" followed in 1990 and the singles "Whatcha Gonna Do with My Lovin" and "That Man (He's Mine)" lit up dancefloors around the world, spreading the news about techno to hundreds of thousands of mainstream clubbers familiar only with house music.Inner City's second album "Fire" followed on the winner with hit singles "Hallelujah" and "Till We Meet Again".The third album "Praise" featured the hits "Pennies from Heaven", which entered the UK Charts at Number 24 and "Hallelujah 92" which speedily followed, entering the Chart at Number 22."Testament 93" (a collection of about of the best remixes commissioned) followed in early 1993, which was also their final issue with Virgin Records.

In the form of 1993 the band signed to a new label, Six6 Records.Their first one was the popular track "Back Together Again" followed up by singles "Do Ya", "Share My Life" and "Ahnonghay".The grouping then went on a brief break as Saunderson returned to his more experimental roots with process as The Reese Project (with his then wife Ann who co-wrote and did all the vocal arrangements on the album "Faith, Hope & Clarity").In 1995, the band returned from their brief hiatus, with their aptly titled single "Hiatus", swiftly followed by "Your Love" which entered the UK Charts at Number 27."Do Me Good" was released in 1996.

In 1999 the band signed to PIAS and scored a Top 10 single, in the UK, with their Spanish translation of "Upright Life," re-titled "Good Life (Buena Vida)".The one went on to sell over 100,000 copies.2000 saw the loss of "Honest Bed" and although it didn`t have a good release, in the UK, it received critical acclaim.

Inner City`s female counterpart to Paris Grey is the inimitable Ann Saunderson. Known for her part to the1992 hit, "Pennies From Heaven," Ann also provided guest vocals (and co-wrote) two of Octave One`s single releases, including the tremendously successful dance anthem "Blackwater" (which was covered twice in 2010 alone) and "Somedays." Ann`s worked with a who`s who of dance music talent and will bring an integral role along side Kevin Saunderson and Paris Grey in the foundation of Inner City`s new artist CD.

Flash forward to the stage and this brand new remix of "Dear Love" sees UK DJ/Producer/Remixer/Kidology founder Mark Wilkinson and Brighton based DJ/Producer/Remixer Mikalis bring this classic track back to life_It's an epic journey destined to set dance floors on fire once again.

The ring is currently hard at turn on a brand new artist album. In the meantime, "Good Love" is set for free on Beatport on Monday 18th April on KMS Records_ A new sound. for a new generation.
